Cooking Classes with Chef Dave of DB Culinary Provisions
​
I am now offering virtual cooking classes twice per month beginning January 2023. As a professional chef for over 35 years I consider myself lucky that I still love cooking and I can’t wait to teach, inspire, and share my knowledge and passion. In my class you can cook along, simply watch and observe or view the recorded class later.
If you are interested in signing up, email me at chefdobie99@gmail.com and I’ll provide all the details to confirm your reservation.

Cost is $40 per 45-minute virtual zoom class. It includes agenda, ingredient list, recipes, instructions, and class recording. Multi-class discount available. First class is Monday January 9th, 2023 at 6:00pm

You will Learn:
• Fundamentals of cooking, knife skills, cooking techniques, tips, tricks, and general food knowledge from a professional chef with over 3 decades of experience.
• How to cook your favorite restaurant quality meals at home for a fraction of the cost.
• Tips on shopping for food and how to save money using the right ingredients.
• Cooking/ingredient substitutions, alternatives, and options for those who have dietary restrictions, allergies or maintain a specific diet plan.
• How to meal prep, organize and create weekly menus.
• Stories, anecdotes, and shenanigans of cooking in professional kitchens

local delivery area includes;
Stoneham, Melrose, Malden, Medford, Wakefield, Reading, Woburn, Winchester, Somerville.
Outside of this area there is a $5 delivery fee

Chef David Blessing
David Blessing's career spans more than 30 years in independent restaurants, boutique inns, private and corporate catering and luxury hotels. His food philosophy springs from a devotion to creating unforgettable food. His cooking style is focused on pristine, local, seasonal ingredients that highlight the bounty of New England. With this focus his cuisine showcases ingredients and technique.
Growing up in Portland, Maine, Life revolved around food, the gardens it came from and the shared act of cooking for the family. Both Chef David’s grandmothers were exceptional cooks; one a true Maine Down-easter and the other from Abruzzi, Italy. They taught him to respect the land and appreciate its abundance, and that the communal sharing of food is the quintessential and most powerful way to bring people together.
Chef David’s professional career in Boston began 30 years ago. He spent 13 years with the Four Seasons Hotel company in Boston and San Francisco; both 5 Star, 5 Diamond Hotels and held positions as Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine of the nationally acclaimed AAA, 5 Diamond restaurant, Aujourd’hui. He then moved to California as part of the leadership opening team of the highly anticipated Four Seasons.
In 2006 Chef Blessing partnered with Columbus Restaurant Group, working with longtime mentor and restaurateur, Jamie Mammano at Sorellina, Mistral and as Executive Chef opening L’Andana Grill in Burlington, MA. David also worked for Whole Food Market as a Regional Prepared Food Associate Coordinator.
